When I came to speak to the residents of Ward 5 in 2022. I heard that your concerns were the state of the roads. Many roads were in terrible shape. I noticed this first hand while canvassing.  I told you I would make this a priority. I am pleased to say that many roads in Ward 5 have been resurfaced over the last four years. James St and Kildare Ave. are scheduled for next year.

You also told me you were concerned about speeding and road safety especially on 25th Sideroad.

Last year I was able to get a 4 way stop at 25th and 9th Line. We have seen a big change here with regards to collisions.

This year I have been able to get a 4 way stop at 25th and 10th Line. This will alleviate a lot of problems at this intersection as it has been very dangerous.

I am currently working with staff to resolve the 10th Line reconstruction issue from 25th to the beach.

I have 3 projects that I would like to continue working on for all of Innisfil.

1>  The Go Station. I will continue to work with staff and Provincial Government members and Metrolinx to get this built as soon as possible.

2>  A left turn lane from  Innisfil Beach Road to 20th Sideroad southbound.  This is so long overdue and I am hoping that staff and Metrolinx can come to a meeting of the minds and resolve this issue in the very near future.

3> The new RVH Hospital Campus on Yonge St. I know this will take many years to complete but I will continue to lobby for moving this much needed hospital along sooner than later
